I’m on Bike 2 (246). I use the bikemd file format.
When I’m on a brand new document (with no content), the ⌘+v action no-ops. It’s a valid menu action (i.e. no boop sound from macOS, and the menuItem highlights), but nothing gets pasted. Clicking the menuItem also doesn’t do anything (I know the keyboard shortcut & clicking the menuItem do the same thing, just being thorough).
If I add a single space or newline in the document, the paste works as expected.
I was able to repro this with the text “foo” on my pasteboard, as well as an email. I’m assuming it is ignorant to the type of data you are trying to paste.
