I’m running Bike 1.22 (preview 193). I went to the File menu to save a .bike document in a different format (OPML) only to find the “Save as …” option that I’m sure used to be there was absent. Thinking it may have been moved (perhaps to an Export function somewhere else) I went to Help and searched for it. Lo and behold it reappeared for long enough for me to use it, then disappeared again.
I this expected behaviour? If it is please don’t; everything that an application can do ought to be somewhere in the menu system.
It is expected, it is also odd, it’s also standard macOS behavior–it’s being provided by the system defaults, not by Bike. For example I think you’ll find that TextEdit (shipped with macOS) acts the same way.

I believe the reason is that if you Duplicate then properties of the original file (eg. versions for restore, etc) come with the duplicate. If you Save As then you don’t get those benefits.
