Splitting the screen between Finder and and Bike (KM 11 macro)

A first draft of a Keyboard Maestro macro (requires KM 11), which splits the active screen Left ⇄ Right between a Finder view and Bike.

The folder displayed in the Finder window is either:

  1. that containing the active Bike document, or
  2. a default folder specified as a filePath at the top of the macro in local_DefaultFolder

The horizontal proportion of screen space taken by the file panel is 1/3 by default,
and can be adjusted by editing the numeric value of local_PanelHorizontalProportion near the top of the macro, e.g. to something like 1/4 or 0.25

A first draft – let me know of any tweaks that seem desirable.

PS haven’t yet (despite the macro title) added toggling.

If toggle target one is the split view (Finder to left, Bike to right)
perhaps toggle target two should just be:

  1. Previous Bike window position restored
  2. Finder window closed ?

That seems reasonable to me, though leaving finder window open at some smaller size might be good too, incase you are toggling out to continue work with the finder.
