Selecting and dragging an arbitrary amount of text ( a word, sentence, paragraph etc) is very useful text editing function. I can’t seem to get this functionality in Bike. Am I missing something?
No, I think I just haven’t implemented that yet. One drawback of all the cool aspects of Bike’s editor is that I needed to build it from scratch. So missing some details like this.
I thought this was working but in 264 it is not. You cannot drag and drop selected text because you cannot even touch the selected text without the selected text ceasing to be selected.
Yeah, it’s not implement, I don’t think it ever has been in Bike. I never use myself and forget that it’s standard behavior. I’ll add to my list. Not sure if it will make 2.0 or not.
No problemo. It’s force of habit. You could even argue it’s a bad habit and that it’s better to learn to use keyboard commands for everything. I’d say don’t put any priority on this one; you’ve got bigger fish to fry.
