Same file two windows

Is this possible?
It would be quite useful on long outlines to compare different areas without constantly jumping.

If you have Keyboard Maestro then a very nice member of this forum (@complexpoint ) created a macro that will do just this. I use that macro all the time. Here’s the link:

And in general you can do this using menu items:

  • File > New Tab
  • File > New Window

Looks like you haven’t yet granted permissions to Script Editor

e.g. (may vary with macOS version, and certainly with locale)

System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Accessibility

(where you need to check Script Editor, if that is how you are going to launch the script, but a dedicated launcher like Keyboard Maestro may be more convenient)
