Any advice on how I can fix the problem showed in the video below? When I don’t have a file open, my bike:// links usually doesn’t work… Bike 1.21 (189), and latest stable macOS.
I’ve tried to add a bunch to the sandbox settings (and restarted Bike).
A first thing to see is if Spotlight is indexing the Bike file by the link ID.
In your above example the ID is A4sj4Xvm.
It should be that you can search using the Command-Spacebar Spotlight interface using this syntax: id: A4sj4Xvm. Unfortunately Spotlight’s Finder UI seems to be giving very inconsistent (buggy) results in latest macOS.
For me sometimes that search works–often other times it does not.
The underlying spotlight database still seems correct, it’s just the Finder UI that’s broken. For me I get consistent results if I search the spotlight database directly using the Terminal with a search like this:
mdfind "kMDItemIdentifier=wZoc3gXU"
Do you see the correct document as a result when you perform that search?
