New install of Taskpaper

Hi all. I recently decided to re-install taskpaper on my MacBook Air M1 system running the latest version of the OS. I could not find the general tab under preferences but I believe it was there before so I could set the app to open the file when it restarts? I tried the other methods listed in earlier forum posts using the terminal and they did not work. Is there a a folder somewhere that I should delete that holds any taskpaper configs or other stuff after I delete the app? I would like taskpaper to open the one file I use on iCloud.

Thanks all.

In System Preferences, uncheck Close windows when quitting an app:
