Do you have any plans on updating TaskPaper to align with the new MacOS design guidelines - Build an AppKit app with the new design - WWDC25 - Videos - Apple Developer ?
Nothing immediate. I still like old design better then new, and right now my focus is on Bike 2, then I’ll be pushing on Bike iOS and a WriteRoom update. I do expect that at some point I’ll focus on TaskPaper, but it’s not high priority for me right now. I still like what I see in it as is.

My personal view of the new design, FWIW, is still that it was rushed out in the hope of distracting the market’s attention from the embarassing débâcle of Apple Intelligence – subsequently the subject of a class action lawsuit.
Elegant enough in parts, but not entirely finished or coherent, and perhaps a bit unrewarding as a distraction from other development possibilities ?

Alright, it make sense. It’s not a big deal. It just bothers me a bit that there is a noticeable difference between updated apps that have slightly bigger window control buttons and relaxed spacing in sidebar and old design. It’s like they use different scaling.
