Jumping between levels (keyboard shortcuts)

Hi everyone,

I’m new to Bike and loving it so far. I’m trying out v2 and I’m wondering what’s the best way, in terms of keyboard shortcuts, to jump either to neighbours one level up or to siblings?

  • One
    • Two
    • Three
    • Four
  • Five
    • Six

Given the structure above, if my cursor is at Three, is there any way of quickly navigating to One or Five from Three, and also from Five to One using keyboard shortcuts and not the arrow keys multiple times?

Also, what is CMD+\ supposed to do? (It isn’t working for me!)

I don’t think we have any shortcuts for those movements yet. Generally I just use arrow keys to move by line or Option-Up/Down to move by paragraph. Open to suggestions, especially if you can find some common shortcuts that are use by other outliners for this.

It’s not implemented yet in Bike 2, but in Bike 1.x it will show a picker, allowing you to move selected entries to another entry. Expect same or similar behavior in Bike 2 at some point.
