Curious if anyone has strong opinions on how they best organize their Bike document(s)?
Personally I have a single file. The root nodes are the main “Areas” of my life, as well as a Daily node.
No strong opinion, but one approach:
macOS includes a built-in XQuery engine (NSXMLNode.ObjectsForXQuery), and supports XInclude, so that we can apply a query like:
//p[ matches(., $Search_Pattern, "i") ]
not just over one Bike document, but over a whole folder-full, and generate clickable reports like the following, in which the links take you straight to the Bike document, and to the specific line that contains a match.

with a Keyboard Maestro macro like:

Recently I’ve started to merge all my markdown files into a single Bike file per area (personal, work etc,). Only caveat is that I can’t have inline tables/images in Bike, otherwise it’s a great way to keep everything in one place.
