Change the @done tag to include the current date?

Is there any way to do this? I have a text expander snippet that adds @done(2015-11-06) for example, but if I forget and use the mouse on the task and click the box, it just appends the @done.

Any way to alter the default @done?

There’s no way to change this yet, though it’s on my todo list. It will be possible once I add a preferences window.
