Can't scroll to bottom of document in High Sierra

WriteRoom’s code is old and updates are no longer accepted by the Mac App Store. At some point in the future (maybe distant) I hope to release a new version of WriteRoom. Using that version I’m able to scroll to the end of a 600K document in macOS 10.13.

If so are you able to share one of the documents (jesse@hogbaysoftware.com) and maybe I can spot what is causing the problem.
