Can I reassign shortcut keys?

I want to change the shortcuts for Move Up and Move Down to be consistent with VS Code (alt up, alt down). Is it possible to change these?

Yes go to:

System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > App Shortcuts

And then add custom shortcuts for TaskPaper’s menu items:

• Item > Move Up
• Item > Move Down

I think you can override the existing shortcuts with your own that way.

I though that would work, too. It didn’t unless I’m doing something wrong.

I think I was wrong about the leading part… works for me if I do it this way:

You should check out CustomShortcuts – Customize menu keyboard shortcuts
It makes handling custom shortcuts so much easier. Even more in combination with CheatSheet - Know your shortcuts you can add or change an assignment directly from within TaskPaper (or any other app). Both are free too.
