Hi Jesse,
I’m a big fan of Bike, and I’ve recently started using the Bike 2 preview. During my testing, I noticed a layout issue with the Calendar plugin when running under a Chinese system locale.
Under a Chinese system locale, each date in the Calendar plugin is rendered in the format of “21日”, “22日” (i.e., number + the Chinese character “日” meaning “day”), whereas in an English locale the same dates are displayed simply as “21”, “22”, etc.
Because the calendar cells are relatively small, the appended “日” character significantly compresses the number, and part of the content even gets pushed down.
Screenshots comparing the English and Chinese locales are attached below for reference:
Even though Bike does not currently offer full localization for other languages, I would suggest making the calendar display in the Chinese locale consistent with the English version by using plain numbers only, to avoid display issues caused by differences in system regional settings.
Thank you for your continuous dedication to polishing Bike!
