Yes, the custom background I set for viewing is annoying when I print the document (to have it handy on paper when my Mac is shut down). The other colors are OK.
I have to revert to a white background every time I want to print (the no color swath up left doesn’t seem to do anything).
But if it is too complex for such a small functionnality, I can live with that.

Having to remove the background before printing was also annoying because the current color is not highlighted in the picker. It’s easy to forget which shade exactly was previously set…
