Adjusting the unit depth of indentations?

I notice that, in this household at least, there are varying preferences for outline indentation depth.

I’m personally happy with the default, but I’ve just been asked to increase the indentation levels, and found that I wasn’t sure about the simplest way to adjust that.

I don’t think its one of GUI options ?

What’s the cleanest approach in a custom stylesheet ?

Convince them they are wrong!?

Just kidding, but I don’t think I have a good answer at moment. It’s easy enough by modifying the default stylesheet (there’s a constant), but that value isn’t parametrizable. Probably makes sense to add this setting to typography settings. I’m going to forget about this for now, but post 2.0 remind me again and I’ll add it.

FWIW confident identification of siblings is reported to get harder as they are pushed further apart by descendant overgrowth …

( my preferred solution is collapse-expand, or even better, tree diagrams of limited depth, but to each their own  )

Toggling the fold state of all rows at the selected level seems to help.

( where selected level is that of the selected row, and the toggle function is bound, in an extension, to a hotkey )
