Update error on Preview versions

Hum… I have no idea what all that stuff in the log means either What version of TaskPaper are you trying to upgrade from? If it’s 3.3 then there’s a known problem. See this post for how to resolve:

The in app update process is broken when updating from TaskPaper 3.3. The problem is that I changed TaskPaper’s bundle identifier in later version, and that makes the in app update process think that there’s a security problem, and it stops the in app update. Instead move the old 3.3 version to the trash. Download the latest version directly from www.taskpaper.com and install it. This is a free update, if you are prompted for a license key by the new version just enter your same 3.3 license key…

If it’s from a later version then I would expect that it “should” work. I did notice one time where I seemed to randomly get an “Error extracting update” error … but then I just tried again and it worked. Generally it should always work first time unless there’s some network problem I think.
