ok… but if you have a very long line (a very long note) with no LF till the end?
I’m not sure I understand the context here, but a single line will always map to a single item in TaskPaper. The line will be wrapped over multiple “visual” lines as needed, but the underlying item will always consist of a single line.
You’re right, Jesse, but my question is exactly this one: may I consider a line according to the wrapped line as displayed?
Looking at the following image: the three dots show that the text item continues (one long note) and that it is wrapped only for display reason.
Would it be possible to show a long note this way?
I don’t believe TaskPaper can support that. I don’t see anyway to style lines so they truncate with ellipses instead of wrapping to the next line.
they wrap actually, but with the three dots they show there is still text after the first line…
