Makes sense to me, although I’m happy with the animation defaults.
The one that used to be in System Preferences and is now controlled by the NSScrollAnimationEnabled
user default.
I find it tiring/disorienting because my eyes want to follow the content while it’s moving.
Thanks, I never knew such a flag existed. I’ll see what I can do to make Bike respect that flag in next release.
In actual use, to me, it just feel nice. I sorta feel the opposite, after working in Bike I type in another text field and all I see is – pop pop pop – until I get used to it.
I created an account here just to affirm this. For me the biggest knock against Bike is that it makes all other text input on my Mac eye-hurty until the phantom-Bike wears off.
It also makes me feel like I’m typing faster, like words are just streaming out of my finger tips.
