View > Zoom (In | Out) require closing & reopening of window?

I notice that in Bike 1.0 Preview (35) with macOS 11.6.5 (20G527):

  • The two View > Zoom commands have no visible or immediate effect on the open window,
  • but then turn out to have had an effect if the window is closed and re-opened.

Is that the expected behaviour ?

For example, a repeated View > Zoom In appears to have no effect all,
but if the file is closed and then reopened, its text has become bigger.

I can reproduce that here.

I assess it as a bug.
