TaskPaper 3.0 Preview (161)

  • Include focused project in text view.

  • Fixed so that editing in a filtered view no longer clears the search.

  • Allow ) character to be used inside tag values with escape sequence \).

  • Don’t allow tag syntax within other tag values to get recognized as a tag.

  • Deleting last item in view no longer breaks undo due to internal exception.

  • Fixed date parsing so that time zones of ‘today’ and ‘tomorrow’ keywords match normal date parsing. Date parsing is still a work in process.

I like how headers are now included when you focus on a project. Encountered a bug though: when focussing, I can fold the top level project, but I can’t unfold it.

Can’t wait to see more from date parsing.

Love this update so far.

Thanks for the update.

I’m also experiencing the bug that daniel mentioned.

And I’m noticing something else too: If the window is scrolled down when I mark an item Done, the window immediately scrolls back up to the top.

Hi there, and thanks for the lovely preview of TaskPaper

I’ve encountered a bug, and I’m not sure if I should post it in this thread, but nevertheless:

The bulletpoints do not display correctly (see the uploaded image).

I’m running OS X El Capitan on German language settings.

Not sure the best way to bug report, but looks like the “tomorrow” query term might be misspelled as “tommorrow”?

@due <[d] tomorrow” doesn’t work for me, but “@due <[d] tommorrow” does. Just for giggles, tried three m’s and it didn’t work, so does seem like a typo.

Ha… you are correct! My grade school teachers are now saying “told you so, spelling does count!” :). I’ll get that fixed in the next release.
