Hide formatting of the “other” Markdown Headers

#1

Hi there,

I receive and have to work often with files that use the method of marking-up first- and second-level headings by placing a row of === or — in the line immediately beneath.

I see that FoldingText recognises and bolds these, but does not hide the formatting as it would with bolds and italics etc. I was wondering whether it would be possible to achieve this extra step to neaten things up?

I understand that these headings do not play well with FoldingText and cannot be folded etc., and for this particular work that is not my concern. All I would like to be able to do is have them in bold, with the line immediately below either blank, or just not there at all, unless I go to edit it – as is the case with the hiding of other formatting at present. Is it possible to hide that formatting?

Thanks in advance,

Mark
