Can't get sidebar to show

I just bought TaskPaper 3 and I’m getting familiar with the interface. I’m trying to make a saved search appear in the sidebar, but the sidebar never appears. When I toggle the sidebar button there is a couple pixel shift in the interface, but nothing really happens. I’ve tried clicking and dragging around where I think it should be, hoping to expand it with no luck. Any ideas?

I finally dragged the window edge in the right state. I have a sidebar! Sorry for adding this topic.

Are you on OS X 10.10? It has that problem sometimes… I think OS X 10.11 shouldn’t. Just checking for my own interest.
