I just discovered after playing around in PopChar that there is a font I have installed named AppleColorEmoji. This has given me some nice colorful icons (as text characters) that I am now using in my TaskPaper document. I will post a screen shot to illustrate this.
I picked up PopChar just for the heck of it because it is from the same developer who makes the most excellent app, Typinator. I don’t think I have any custom fonts installed - although some of my design apps do install their own fonts. Assuming that most folks have AppleColorEmoji font installed, this has been a nice surprise. I thought I would pass it on.
